SKY TV have been in talks with Microsoft relating to the much anticipated new X-Box the X-box one that also boasts IPTV facility and 1080p picture quality whilst still allowing old X Box games to be played on this new console. Microsoft executives have targeted SKY UK with over 5 Million UK subscribers (500'000 of those in Spain "wink") this could lead to a joint venture between both SKY & Microsoft with the consoles acting as both a satellite TV receiver and a games console. It was only a few years ago back in 2010 that Microsoft & SKY collaborated on a plug in that allowed X-BOX owners to watch SKY TV and certain on demand channels through the Xbox so big news is expected very soon. At the recent XBOX one launch visitors to the exhibition where shown how the new XBOX one could switch between live TV and game play.
X-BOX ONE could be marketed in the UK in a joint project with SKY TV.
